Anois teacht an earriagh
Delighted to create this special print in collaboration with Belfast school of art, to celebrate the beginning of Spring.
St Brigid's Day marks the first day of spring on the Irish calendar, Irish traditions include weaving crosses using rushes to mark the occasion and gather together.
This print is also inspired by the beautiful gaeilge poem, Cill Aodáin, by Antoine O Raifteiri. I hope you enjoy, Happy Spring, Imbolc & La Fheile Bride.

Risograph, also known as Riso, is an environmentally friendly print process first developed in Japan in the 1980s that combines elements of screen printing and photocopying. It uses soy-based inks to produce unique outcomes printing one colour at a time and building up layers of colour to create your finished artwork. Variation and diversity is part of the charm of riso printing. It means that the print that you receive is one of a kind and unique to you.
